Computer Lab

During the course of your studies at SEAS you will spend a considerable amount of time in computer labs. The SEAS Computing and Information Technology Cell functions through a network of Pentium machines adequately matched and supported by a host of printers, scanners, modems and other peripherals. Round-the-clock Internet facility mixes well with the strong software support in the areas of advanced computing and programming, business applications and database management. SEAS is connected with a huge networking plan using all Pentium-III HP Brio PC and Windows-NT platform.

Library

SEAS library is the backbone of academic activities of the institute. The library houses a collection of text and reference books, journals, magazines, audio/videos, CD-ROMs, research reports and industrial reports. It has a collection of books in all areas of information technology, applied sciences and allied branches.

The library is fully classified and catalogued and users can search for information on their own. Photocopying facilities are available within the library for user convenience. The library subscribes to journals of national and international repute.

The library has course videos and carefully selected audiocassettes collected from a number of national and international professional institutions. It has also a good collection of CDs. The library has a good collection of annual reports of various government, public institutions and industries. The library has a spacious reading room area. The sitting arrangement in the reading room will encourage the readers to spend more time in the library.

Hostel Accommodation

SEAS has a plush, secure, fully-gated hostel facility. The hostel campus is a six-acre visual delight tastefully landscaped with plenty of walking trails, lawns and quiet corners. Campus shuttle services are also available. The Meadows Cafeteria serves various dishes to suit your taste buds.
